RE: AFP STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO THE DECLARATION OF UNITY
There should be an assurance to the AFP hierarchy regarding it's statement in response to the Declaration of Unity for BGen Danilo Lim that whatever actions a resistance movement of ours, the Filipinos is undertaking is in full accord with their stand. The individual members of this organization are after all, us, Filipinos. We are being stimulated to scrutinize their validity in relation to our history and identity, both of which have been actually hidden, as we cite each of the following items from the statement:
1. We welcome at it’s face value the statement that it recognizes the right to freedom of expression.
2. Our actions in trying to prevent or neutralize anybody including GMA from delivering our geographical claims, islands, agricultural lands, information and communications network, tactical geographical assets, economic resources, defense resources and intellectual resources into the hands of foreigners, which are threats to national security, are precisely our responses to remove the threat.
3. We will settle this MGen Gomez pronouncement issue squarely and candidly.
4. A CONSTITUTION EXISTS, FOR THE LIFE OF A SOCIAL GROUP. A social group can not live, for the existence of a constitution. It's purpose is, to preserve the integrity and functionality of a social group.
In our case, it is the Filipino Nation. Our original constitution which was to a certain extent, national in scope was developed in 1898. This was developed by a people free of foreign adulteration and corruption of agenda. It was under a circumstance of us having been born as an independent and sovereign republican nation. It was under a circumstance, where we were preserving the gains of our independence. It was under a circumstance where we Filipinos, were protecting our own interests and preserving our identity. For all the weaknessess of a new born, struggling nation, it was nationalistic. This is a major element for national integrity. The rest, such as form of government, orientation to the left or the the right, political sytem, economic sytem, and other sytems are internal and supportive of, the national integrity. In fact, the defense system is more fundamental, because this is part of the preservation of the national integrity. And the one determinant of our national integrity is, NATIONAL IDENTITY.
That is why immedietly after some 200,000 to 900,000 of us Filipinos died because of the 1899 invasion of the Americans of our newborn nation, the invaders established a counter force to our original Filipino Army, the Philippine Constabulary. This was a unit composed of Filipino collaborators and whose psychology were corrupted by the Americans. They also established a counter to our Academia Militar conceived by Gen Antonio Luna. This Americanized institution was the precurser to the Philippine Military Academy. These American developed military organizations developed generations of Filipino soldiers who have ceased to recognize us as "self" and attack only Filipinos resisting American invaders, their allies and subtle operators like the Chinese and their collaboraters like GMA. At the same time, these generations of corrupted Filipino soldiers have recognized the American invaders, the Chinese invaders posing no threat to American interests and Filipino collaborators like GMA as part of their supreme command. They have been so corrupted that they have been mutated into providing autoimmune response against their very own.
These Americanized military institutions were perpetuated by the Americans thru the transmittal of their programmed: education, economic policies; culture; communication; political pool of collaborators and social characteristics in our system. This was replicated for generations. The product of these systems were generations of corrupted Filipinos who developed constitutions that ensured the perpetuation of our military institutions producing persons loyal to the Americans and their allies and foreigners not threat to US interests.
These constitutions therefore, have served only to legitimize as part of the country, foreign control of our resources and the economic displacement of us original Filipinos. It also constitutionalized and institutionalized the replication of our dependency and subservience to them from one generation to the next. These constitutions after the American invasion only institutionalized the replication of disintegration and dysfunctionality of our nation. Foreign invasion of our nation still continues up to this generation as indicated by the control of the Americans and the Chinese of our defense, economy, communication and education.1 GMA has a major involvement as a collaborator of this invasion.
It is therefore a natural and legitimate action to continue this resistance against this invasion and collaboration.
5. Common sense dictates that our actions mentioned in item number 2 are not partisan politics. Common sense again dictates that, on the contrary, such actions are the fulfillment of the mandate to protect the Filipino people and preserve the integrity of the nation.
6. We should never digress from our duty to fulfill such mandate and we should in fact not tolerate those who will digress.
Our actions, are legitimate actions. Hindering this is treason. We are carrying out what Gen Yano precisely described as, the centuries old tradition of the Filipino soldier. Assurance of this direction makes us one and in harmony with the AFP institution.
Note:
1. The traces of Spanish blood in the veins of some of our heroes like Fr. José Burgos, Andrés Bonifacio, and Antonio Luna did not hinder them from taking a stand for the Filipinos against the Spaniards. There are Chinese or Chinese meztizos in the Philippines such as Herman Tiu Laurel, Alejandro Lichauco and Gen Danilo Lim in the Philippines who: came here with legitimate purpose; fought for the cause of our liberation as a Filipino nation. They therefore do not in any way belong to the category of foreign enemies but Filipinos and Filipino Nationalists. There were also Americans like Capt David Fegen, Mark Twain, Andrew Carnegie and many others who defected on our side or have fought for the rights of nations which their own nation have abused. They can not be registered as enemies but friends and can be accepted with open arms as Filipinos at any point they desire to.
